What kind of poison? There's been a spate of recent dog poisonings in my area. Not clear whether the dogs just happened to eat something bad or they were deliberate.

A neighbor left out antifreeze for our dogs once, my cat paid the price and it nearly made our horses sick too. I think the only things that stopped them doing it again was getting outside dogs of their own. I'm so happy Espresso is recovering well ❤️🩹
