domain expansion: 10 million fireflies jjk narrator: the owl city clan are masters of a rare type of curse manipulation that allows them to control insects. this combined with guy-from-owl-city's cursed technique of curse transference allows him to transfer a fraction of his cursed energy into a regular insect, thus granting him full control of it. once he has taken full control of a firefly or other insect he is able to force it into a binding vow that not only multiplies that insects cursed energy in exchange for its life, but also replenishes some of his own cursed energy, meaning he can do this for as many insects as he can find. the owl city clan has been breeding fireflies since before the heian era, and guy-from-owl-city just sent them all on a kamikaze death strike that no sorcerer on earth could withstand. with the sole exception of satoru gojo of course
