Stolen identity, a 6-mana blue sorcery that creates a token copy of an artifact or creature, and then has cipher, meaning you can give it as a combat damage trigger to one of your creatures permanently once it resolves.
Valor, the white member of the same cycle as Anger, Wonder, Filth and Brawn. A 4-mana 2/2 with first strike but that's irrelevant. As long as it's in your graveyard and you have a Plains, all your creatures have First Strike at all times.
Illithid Harvester, a 4/4 blue Horror for 5, though it also has an adventure Sorcery on it. The sorcery costs X and two blue, taps X target creatures, and stops them from untapping for a turn. The creature half turns any number of tapped creatures face-down into 2/2s without abilities when it enters.
Lure, a 3-mana green aura that enchants a creature and forces all creatures that can block it to do so. It can be used as evasion on your own creatures, but in this deck it also can do some fun stuff when flashed in after attackers are declared, ruining a person's attack AND their opponent's blocks.
Aura Thief, a 2/2 Illusion for four mana in blue with flying. When it dies, you steal all enchantments from all players (forever.)
Kianne, Corrupted Memory, a legendary 2/2 Illusion for 2 a green and a blue. She gets a +1/+1 counter whenever you draw a card and alternates between giving flash to your noncreature spells or creature spells, depending if her current power is even or odd, respectively.
Oracle en-Vec, a white 1/1 human wizard for one and a white from Tempest. It has a singular activated ability, allowing you to tap it during your turn to make target opponent decide in advance which creatures they will attack with during their next turn. Creatures they don't choose for it can't attack at all, and the ones they choose are forced to attack. If they can't because they were otherwise tapped or stopped from attacking, they're destroyed at end of turn.
Vincent's Limit Break, a Magic card and an Instant for one and a black. It reads: Tiered (Choose one additional cost.) Until end of turn, target creature you control gains “When this creature dies, return it to the battlefield tapped under its owner’s control” and has the chosen base power and toughness. • Galian Beast, for zero mana, makes the creature a 3/2. • Death Gigas for one mana, makes the creature a 5/2. • Hellmasker for three mana, makes the creature a 7/2.
Redemption Choir, a 4-mana 3/3 Vampire Cleric with Lifelink. When it enters or attacks, if you control three creatures with different powers (including it), it can return any permanent with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Priest of the Crossing, a 4-mana flying 3/3 Zombie Bird Cleric. At the beginning of each end step, it puts a +1/+1 counter on your entire team for each of your creature that died during the turn.
Valkyrie's Call, a 5-mana white enchantment that makes all your non-angel (nontoken) creatures come back to life with flying and a +1/+1 counter as angels when they die.
Teferi's Protection, the printing of it from Sheldon's Spellbook Secret Lair. A 3-mana white instant that protects you and your entire board from pretty much everything for an entire turn cycle.
Ao, a 5-mana mono-white 5/4 Dragon Spirit with flying and vigilance. When Ao dies, you get to either put 4 mana value of nonland permanents from the top 7 cards of your library, or put two +1/+1 counters on all your creatures (and Vehicles.)
Ferris Wheel, an Attraction that you visit on a 4, 5 or 6, that phases out a creature it hasn't phased out before, up until you roll a 3 or less to visit your attractions. If that makes no sense to you, don't worry, that's normal, but I'm also not gonna explain attractions here.
Coat of Arms, a 5-mana artifact that gives each creature (on everyone's board) +1/+1 for each other creature on the battlefield (on anyone's board) that shares a creature type with it. With random humans and wizards and rogues and soldiers, it tends to be VERY confusing.
Gylwain, Casting Director, a 3-mana green and white 2/3 legendary humand bard. When he or another nontoken creature enters under your control, Gylwain will give that creature your choice of a Royal Role token, a Sorcerer Role token, or a Monster Role token. If you don't remember what those do from Wilds of Eldraine limited, well, tough luck, the card doesn't say either.
Garth One-Eye, a 5-colors, 5-mana legendary 5/5 human wizard that can tap to cast an iconic spell from magic's very first set from among Black Lotus, Disenchant, Braingeyser, Terror, Shivan Dragon and Regrowth. You need to pay its mana cost to cast a spell that way. You can also only cast each of them once per instance of Garth being on the battlefield. Neither this card nor this alt text will tell you what any of these six cards do.
Anointer Priest, a 2-mana white 1/3 human cleric that gains you a life whenever a creature token enters under your control. It also has Embalm, allowing you to create a token copy of it for 4 mana by exiling it from your graveyard.
March of Souls, a 5-mana white Sorcery that destroys all creatures. Then each player gets a 1/1 flying Spirit token for each of their creatures destroyed.
Slate of Ancestry, a 4-mana artifact. For four mana, tapping it, and discarding your hand, you get to draw a card for each creature you control.
Rhys the Redeemed, a green and white Legendary 1/1 Elf Warrior for a single hybrid mana. He has two tap abilities, one for three mana that creates a 1/1 Elf Warrior token, and one for six mana that creates a copy of EVERY creature token you control.
Harvester of Misery, a 5-mana black 5/4 Spirit creature with Menace. It gives -2/-2 to all other creatures for the turn when it enters. You can also just discard it for 2 mana to give -2/-2 to a single creature for the turn.
Selfless Glyphweaver, a Modal Double Faced Creature in white. For 3 mana, it's a 2/3 human cleric that can exile itself to make all your creatures indestructible for a turn. The back is Deadly Vanity.
Professor Onyx, a 6-mana black Liliana planeswalker with three loyalty abilities that are pretty generic, but most important for this deck and combo, a passive Magecraft ability. Whenever you cast OR COPY an instant or sorcery, she drains all opponents for 2 life.
Eagles of the North, a 6-mana flying creature that buffs your team when it enters, but that mostly doesn't matter. It has Plainscycling for a single generic mana, meaning it functions close to a tapland that can also mana fix. There is one of these creatures for each color in the deck. Since they're creatures, they allow the deck to never run out of land drops once Extus is around and doing his thing.
Decadent Dragon with Expensive Taste, an example Adventure card. It is a 4/4 red dragon with flying and trample for four mana, that creates a treasure token when it attacks. Expensive Taste is the adventure half, an instant you can cast instead of Decadent Dragon that steals the top two cards of an opponent's deck. If you cast the spell half first, it exiles itself and you can later cast the creature half too. If you cast the creature half first, you lose access to the spell half. Cards with an Adventure are always only considered to be their permanent half while in any zone other than the stack. On the stack, they are whatever half is being cast.
Extus, Oriq Overlord, the front half of a modal double-faced card, which means you can either cast this side of the card or the other freely. He's a 4-mana black and white legendary 2/4 human warlock with double strike. Whenever you cast or copy an instant or sorcery, he lets you return a nonlegendary creature from your graveyard to your hand.
Nexus of Becoming, a 6-mana artifact that passively triggers at the beginning of your combat phase. It draws you a card, then allows you to exile a creature or artifact from your hand to create a token copy of it directly on the board, except the token copy is a 3/3 Golem artifact creature in addition to its other types.
Ulvenwald Oddity, a 4-mana green 4/4 Beast with trample and haste. It can transform for 7 mana, and has no other ability on its front side.
Bag of Tricks, a 2-mana green artifact. For 5 mana and tapping it, you get to roll a d8 and put the first creature of your deck with that exact mana value onto the board.
Wild Pair, a 6-mana green enchantment. Whenever one of your creatures enters after you cast it from your hand, you can search your library for another creature with the same total power and toughness and ALSO put that one straight into play.
Nacatl War-Pride, a 6-mana green 3/3 Cat Warrior creature that must be blocked by exactly one creature. When it attacks, it creates a (tapped and attacking) token copy of itself for each creature the defending player controls. They are exiled at end of turn. This in practice forces opponents to block only the War-prides, and at least one is getting through, at least in 1v1. In multiplayer you CAN have the tokens attack different players. Notably, it still makes token copies of itself for tapped creatures defending player controls, and those can't typically block, so you often end up with an excess of attackers.
Kodama of the East Tree, a 6-mana green legendary 6/6 Spirit with reach. Whenever a permanent enters the battlefield under your control, you may put another permanent of the same or lesser mana value onto the battlefield from your hand. This ability doesn't trigger from itself putting permanents into play. It DOES trigger from tokens, allowing you to put zero-cost permanents into play, typically lands, whenever you create your typical token.
Mother of Runes, a 1-mana white 1/1 human cleric that can tap to give any of your creatures (including herself) protection from a color until end of turn.
Oracle en-Vec, a 2-mana 1/1 white human wizard. It has a simple tap ability to activate during your turn, that asks an opponent to decide in advance which creatures they'll attack with during their next turn (though not WHO they will attack in multiplayer or with planeswalkers and battles involved.) Creatures that aren't chosen for the Oracle can't attack during that turn, and creatures that are chosen are forced to attack if able. And are destroyed if unable.
Shorikai, Genesis Engine, a 4-mana blue and white legendary 8/8 Vehicle. For one mana, it can tap to draw two cards, discard one card, and create a 1/1 pilot token that crews with 3 power instead of 1. Shorikai has crew 8.
Halo Fountain, a 3-mana white artifact. It can tap itself and untap a number of tapped creatures you control, along with some mana, to generate a few different effects. For one white mana and untapping one creature, it can make a 1/1 Citizen token. For two white mana and untapping two creatures, it can draw a card. For FIVE white mana and untapping FIFTEEN creatures, you can win the game.
Illusionist's Bracers, a 2-mana equipment that equips for 3. It copies any activated ability of the equipped creature when they are activated.
Merieke Ri Berit, a 3-mana legendary 1/1 Human for a white, a blue and a black. She doesn't untap during your untap step, whether you want her to or not. She can tap to steal a creature off the board. When she gets untapped, you destroy the creature and it can't be regenerated. When she leaves play, you give the creature back... Then destory it and it can't be regenerated. The specific wording is full of holes that can be abused with untapping effects and other indestructible abilities.
Sindbad, a 2-mana blue 1/1 nonlegendary human that can tap to draw a card and reveal it. The card is discarded if it isn't a land.
Desecrate Reality, a 7-mana colorless instant that exiles a permanent of even mana value from each opponent, and reanimates a permanent of odd mana value from your own graveyard.
Maze of Ith, a land that doesn't tap for mana, but can tap to untap an attacker and prevent all combat damage it would deal this turn, essentially negating an attack.
Planar Bridge, a 6-mana legendary artifact, that requires a further investment of 8 mana and tapping it to search your deck for any permanent, and simply put it onto the battlefield.
Wilderness Reclamation, a 4-mana green enchantment that untaps all your lands at the beginning of your end step.
Glacial Chasm a land from back in Ice Age. It requires you to sac another land to play it, has a cumulative upkeep of 2 life you'll need to pay multiples of to keep it around, and prevents you from ever attacking. All these downsides are justified by the fact it just prevents all damage dealt to you as long as it is around, no questions asked. Also it doesn't tap for mana.
Kyodai, Soul of Kamigawa, a legendary white 3/3 Dragon Spirit with Flash and Flying. Kyodai makes another one of your permanents indestructible as long as she sticks around. She also has an activated ability giving her +5/+5 for one mana of each color, giving her a 5-color identity in commander.
Firbolg Flutist, a 6-mana 4/4 Giant Bard. Upon entering, it steals any creature from an opponent's board until end of turn, and gives it haste and Myriad. Myriad will create a copy of the creature for each other opponent when it attacks an opponent, and the tokens will be exiled at end of combat.
Herigast, Erupting Nullkite, a 9-mana legendary 6/6 Eldrazi Dragon that can Emerge for 8, saccing a creature and reducing its 8-mana cost by that creature's mana value instead of paying the full cost. It flies, of course, and allows all your other creatures to Emerge for their mana cost (minus the mana value of the sacced creature.) When you cast Herigast, you have the option to exile your hand to draw three fresh cards.
Squee, Goblin Nabob, a legendary creature who's cost and stats don't matter. He's a goblin that comes back to your hand from your graveyard on your upkeep, for free and unconditionally.
Mirror-Style Master, a 6-mana 3/3 Human Warrior creature with Backup 1: When it enters, it puts a +1/+1 counter on a creature, and that creature gains Mirror-Style Master's other ability. That ability is that when the creature attacks, you create a tapped and attacking token copy of each modified creature you control, ie each creature you control with an equipment on it, a counter on it, or an aura on it. Those tokens are exiled at end of combat.
Clone Shell, a five-mana 2/2 artifact creature. When it enters, it imprints face down in exile a card from the top four of your library. When it dies, the face down card is put onto the battlefield directly if it's a creature.
Jaxis, the Troublemaker, a four-mana red legendary 2/3 human warrior. She has a Blitz cost of 2, allowing her to be cast for this cheaper cost, in which case she has haste, dies at end of turn, and draws a card when she dies. She can be activated by tapping her, paying a red and discarding a card at sorcery-speed, to create a copy of another creature you control, that is essentially blitzed. It has haste, dies at end of turn, and draws a card when it dies.
