I loved Brussels! It was definitely a more lowkey city but it was a vibe. It was even rainy when I went and it was still a nice time. Loved having mussels and waffles and fries.
Oh also I'm sure you are already aware but at least 10yrs ago, many places in Europe didnt have AC unless they were like super new and fancy. So being there in June may be a little rough temperature wise
I liked Brussels. The Atominium was pretty neat. The food was great (waffles, fries, fancy chocolate). They had some cool architecture. Have I liked other cities more? Sure. I wouldnt say Brussels sucks tho

If you can get into the Brussels Airlines lounge in the airport, they have an honest to god Chocolatier giving out samples. Best airport amenity I have ever encountered
I don't know why people would say Brussels sucks. It's a dope city
