Traditional fishing camp on North Beach, Chatham, Mass. This the east side of Pleasant Bay across from Allen Point on the mainland. This is located inside the John F. Kennedy National Seashore. The view is to the Noth and northwest, Strong Island in the upper left. The camp was purchased in 1947 by John E. Harriss in 1947. It remained in the Harriss family until it was destroyed by a storm in 2007. The camp was believed to be more than 100 years old when it was destroyed.
