I've been to the Carnival of Souls. The original pavilion burned down in the 1920s. The second Saltair burned from arson in the 70s. The third Saltair is still there but abandoned now.

Oh, wow! Was the second Saltair being used when the movie was filmed? I always assumed it was already abandoned just by how it looked.
