Its chaotic, unconventional hyperrealism and, most importantly, its raw, unfiltered truth left a lasting impression on me. The film conveys a terrible, horrifying, and unbearable truth that lingers in your mind.

M by Fritz Lang is one of my favorite films, the artistry of his shots and the smoking culture of 1920-1930's Germany. TCM is my safe space.
I was so glad when Arrow Video released Khrustalyov, My Car! back in the day, and its a shame they never got around to the other Alexei German films that were released before this in his career. Would be nice for anyone to restore and release them in English friendly form.
