I might be late but I prefer the right one. The branches up front add a lovely sense of depth. I also feel the colors and stronger contrasts make the elements easier to grasp at first glance. Lastly, the details with the uneven lines and textures give more character and realistic charm. Great work!

Personally I prefer the image on the right. I have no knowledge regarding game design but I feel like it has more depth to it.

I kind of like the vine crawling up the walls, in addition, the building in the background is nice, but otherwise, I think the right picture edges out the left picture slightly ^^

Release with whichever gets voted highest. After you've made enough from the base sales, Release GOTY versions that can switch back and forth like the Halo C:E on Xbone did it... But on the Switch.

I think the right side clearly looks better, however the left side is more consistent with the rest of the game from what I have seen. I like the retro feel regardless but I think the left image is more practical.

I take it you're supposed to enter the archway, so the one on the right emphasizes that way better. Also, love the foreground!
