What do you think, why does this crow move so oddly? #pixel #pixelartist #pixelart #gamedev #2D #GodotEngine #gaming #GameDesign #indiegame #pointandclick #VideoGames

Hmm, might be because it's missing the delayed head motion that birds have (not sure if that applies to hopping though)? Still looks good imo. Helpful reference: mss-group7.blogspot.com/2012/03/crow...

It reminds me of a pigeon hopping around. Wouldn't a crow just turn its head to watch, walk instead, or maybe behave more like the crows in Dead by Daylight by flying up and away?

If it was on the ground it would hop with its wings back. if it is on something narrow like a fence there would be probably some wing movement for balance. Have the wings slightly pop with each hop.

Only really his head moves, it's almost like his head is dragging the rest of the body. Maybe add a little detail in the wings or make his feet visible for the hop.

In today's society you can't hop around outside without being questioned 🙄🙄 smh my head

Looks fine to me. Maybe the head doesn't bob as much, but I do think real crows hop along like that.
