This morning I lead a workshop with high school students where I asked them to interpret my painting. We learned that we are all artists with unique stories worth telling. I asked what this painting meant to them? One of the students said, "What is behind that door is great, but it takes a lot to open it up!" I asked, "Why's that?" Another added, "Because some people find comfort in the darkness..."
