Firstly, dweedes would like to thank the excellent team members who brought this game to life: Artist Sal Fontaine and Animator Charlene Ding, and VicScreen for their support.

As mentioned, we're handling this project a little differently than usual. If you watched the gameplay trailer, you may have caught that this game will be free. The release date also says "coming soon" - that's no joke, it really is releasing soon!

The reason for all this is that the difficult decision was made to cease development of this game beyond its current scope. After deep reflection, and taking into consideration a multitude of factors, it became clear that further development and completion of this project to our standard of quality was no longer viable.

Sadly the full scale version of Ocean Planet we envisioned will not be completed. But we didn't want to just let the game drown and not have anything to show for the past year and a bit! dweedes has been working on wrapping up the project for a release this (Australian) financial year.
