I've been scrolling through Product Management jobs for years and since at least the past 3 years there is always an endless list of product roles that Canonical are trying to fill. I wonder what the recruiters there are thinking of their success and also management. #itjobs #productmanagement

Canonical is known for their absolutely ridiculous hiring process. Shows up all the time on socials and /r/recruitinghell. They're the only people who care about your high school performance.

At the same time it's always funny when a company tries to headhunt me, I reach the final interview stage and then they pull the "we decided on another candidate" card. And suddenly, a month later, the same job posting resurfaces but with a slightly updated description and title.

Wait, Canonical have recruiters? 😂 I once applied there (for a technical writer) and got an automatic rejection email seconds after sending in my application.
