:clap:o-KAY!! I am a primarily-artist who wrote two books! Here's how you do it:

- Take notes. All the notes. "I'll remember this!" No you won't. I have a $2 app called ABCNotes that looks like sticky notes; the form doesn't matter just WRITE everything DOWN. Every character, every idea, every thought!
- Make a character interaction flowchart! Friend, enemy, fuckfriend, fuckenemy, whatever! This will show you how everyone interacts and allow you to model the chemistry from a top-down view.
- Make a plot timeline. Doesn't have to be detailed, you can start with the big beats and add more later.
- You are a visual artist, make sure your notes have pictures so you WANT to look at them! Put notes in shapes to differentiate them from other things, it doesn't matter what it is, just make sure it's anything EXCEPT those giant indecipherable bricks of text from English class! The only person who needs to be able to read them is you!
