A bump on the noggin?

So Steven CAN be rattled by something. I also like how this arc shows that Bev is somewhat of a natural at this. She'd be a great mom.

Borfington appears just as unprepared for parenthood as they are.

Tara had to jinx it 😅

I like how even an elder god gets freaked out when a toddler suddenly gets a little hurt and starts crying for his mommy.

Awwwwww, poor Marcus. God, I genuinely feel bad now.

"It'll just be a few hours and he probably won't even wake up." These two getting a crash course on the more stressful elements.

STEVEN! GIVE THE FOREHEAD A GENTLE LICK

Unrealistic, kids are immune to any damage as long as no one around them acknowledges that they might have hurt themselves

Pro tip for new parents: While small children are informational sponges, they're also emotional mirrors - if you see them fall down and panic, they too will panic in a feedback loop Instead, sound happy/giggly and pretend it's all fine then distract them they immediately forget they got hurt at all
