As the shower of blood fantastically morphs into flower petals just as red, the bits and pieces of the Tensen’s final words are lost to the wind. Whatever remains wafts to Sagiri, still, the breeze bringing her the sweet, fragrant scent of peony. From their body, a clear liquid seeps out, and a hundred of peonies sprout and spring forth into full bloom. The orchard is quick to take over the Tensen’s body, and then the entire ground around them. They are left with a simple field of peonies. No one would’ve thought it a grave. It should've been a beautiful sight - a miracle taking place in front of them, a balm of relief to everyone’s hearts. But Sagiri only feels grim. Just how many lives have the Tensen taken to fuel their own dreadful existence? When Sagiri looks at the peonies, as red as Jiujun Amoghavajra’s blood, she can only think of those explorers’ bodies, a compost that prolongs only the Tensen’s near-immortal existences.
