A forest appears amidst a desert wasteland. A biped fawn-like creature with a horn, poncho, backpack, and lantern can be seen stepping warily through the forest's shadows. The grass and branches seem to be reaching for them. Images of strange creatures can be seen. One is of a lemur-like creature, peeling down it's face to feast on a large bug with whisker-like tubes. Another are what appear to be strange, heart-shaped plants with teeth that seem to beat and throb, snapping up insects that fly near. The last picture shows a close up of the fawn creature's face, sweating and immensely disturbed as a strange hum echoes all around them. The narration throughout the comic page states: "I should have never entered this cursed forest. What seemed like an escape from the heat of the barren wastes was a prison straight from the darkest reaches of my nightmares and very well may become my tomb. I thought the exit was just over here, but I can’t seem to ever reach it. I marked a rock to help find my way, but I keep seeing it. Am I going in circles? There also appears to be an incessant humming that keeps getting louder and louder no matter how far away I run from the direction I hear it. Is it the forest itself? Has it awakened to pull me down into its roots to be devoured? Am I going insane?"
