I never know how to word posts like this, so it'll be a bit of a stream of consciousness, but I wanted to provide an update now l've had time to process some emotions. Nan passed away just over a week ago. She hadn't been very well for a while so this was somewhat expected. However, nothing can prepare you for when it actually happens. My sincerest thanks to anyone who reached out directly. It genuinely helped a lot. I'll be saying final goodbyes with the rest of the family in a few weeks. Take this as a reminder to savour the time you spend with those you love.

I thought this might be helpful for all of the people who are struggling to understand the basics of lighting. This is one of the primary attributes of light - colour. The standard measurement of colour when dealing with light is Degrees Kelvin (K) which relates to the colour emitted by a piece of platinum when heated to the same temperature in Celsius (probably an over simplification but it helps to make sense of the measurement). Just keep in mind that lower numbers are more orange and higher more blue and that incandescent lighting is lower than daylight. Go and have a read about it and it will assist your understanding of white balance. I hope this helps. (this image originated from an architectural group btw)
