If you're now 100% dependent on donations, you better rebrand to cater to your donors/viewers. Stop both sides-ing everything. Start explicitly fighting for the left. I'd happily give to a media source that fought against the fascist right, but for elite, down the middle "journalism"? No interest.
I will not pay for sanewashing the actions of the current administration. And now you're begging for money because the people you've been trying to normalize the last couple of months have now defunded you even though you've tried your best to coddle to them. Tough nuts!
If you can't honestly report on the harm being done to this country, you can just keep asking for money but you're not going to get it.

I've considered signs in front of gambling establishments, that are everywhere. They need to read it's just five dollars, you know you're going to lose it anyway, but there's a chance you can still save this.
