Banned Books Week October 5–11, 2025 As book banning efforts persist in the United States, North Star Editions continues to support librarians and teachers who face pressure as a result of book bans. We are also thinking of readers and authors whose freedoms to read and write about marginalized people and experiences, including their own, are threatened by censorship. North Star Editions is committed to publishing books that increase representation, provide fresh perspectives, and celebrate a diversity of experiences. We believe all young readers deserve to access those books freely in their schools and libraries.
