The two time series from the previous graphic but with some additional elements and without the washout event highlights.
The title is "Estimated terrestrial background for ENA station (2025)". In addition to the observed ambient gamma dose rate in blue, the first plot also shows the model estimate in orange now. The estimate follows the lower values of the observed timeline closely but does not show the high, short-term peaks.

A explanatory graphic titled"washout event". The top half of the graphic consists of two timeseries graph. The upper one showing the ambient gamma dose rate and the lower one the precipitation for one year. The ambient gamma dose rate values are mostly between 85 and 95 nSv/h with some short spikes of up to 105 nSv/h.
The precipitation is mostly 0 mm and has some short spikes of up to 15 mm/h.
Two times are highlighted by orange ellipses (same color as title). In both a spike in each of the two time series happens at the same time.
Below the graphs drawings with explanations are placed. They are dark orange and light bluw.
The left most is the decay chain of radon (Rn, Po, Pb, Bi, ...) and some small, dark orange shapes next to it. It is labelled "radon progeny accumulates in particles". The next one is labelled "rain drops take them up". In it the small shapes from the previous drawing are in and around three light blue drops.
The next drawing is a cloud from which rain drops fall. Some have some very small dark orange dots. On the ground, some more dots are barely visible. On the right side, a gauge points to the ground and shows a relatively high value (nothing is labelled). It is labelled "Gamma rad." and an arrow indicates increase. Below this two labels are placed: "radon progeny accumulates on the ground" and "gamma radiation on the ground increases".

The top part is titled "Radon originates from land". In it many arrows are moving from left to right. They have the same color dark orange color as "radon" in the title. They are on top of symbols for wind. Some arrows end, some start but overall the number at each horizontal position remains the same. The bottom part is titled "Radon disappears over sea". The overall layout of the second part is very similar to the first. The arrows in the air are similar to the previous ones on the left side, on the right side however, there are fewer arrows beginning, so the overall number of arrows decreases. The scale in the location marker shows a low value.

In it a plot with time on the x-axis and radon activity concentration on the y-axis shows a line following roughly logarithmic growth.. There are points randomly slightly above or below the line equally spaced in time. In the bottom right corner it says "sensitivity, u < 5 %, k = 1". Below these to parts is written "for traceable low-activity concentration measurements of radon-222". At the bottom in a small font it says "Röttger et al. Three plots with the same x-axis beneath each other. The x-axis shows the date and time from Oct 7, 2025 00:00 to Oct 9, 2025 00:00. The bottom plot shows CO on the y-axis in ppm. The value range is 0.1 to 0.6. It has a pretty stable baseline slightly higher than 0.1 ppm and occasional peak to 0.15 ppm to 0.3 ppm. Between Oct, 7 18:00 and Oct 8, 00:00 more and higher peaks occur. They are always very short in duration and usually fall back to the baseline. The next plot shows CH₄ also in ppm with a range from 1.95 ppm to 2.15 ppm. The baseline is around 2.00 at the beginning and lower at around 1.97 ppm in the last third. It has fewer and then somewhat longer peaks than CO but often at similar times. The highest and most peaks occur at the same time as the most CO peaks (Oct, 7 18:00 to Oct, 8 00:00). The top plot shows CO₂ in ppm with a range from 420 ppm to 470 ppm. The baseline fluctuates somewhat between 420 ppm and 430 ppm. Even fewer short peaks than for CH₄ occur but a cluster similar to the others with an increased baseline of about 435 ppm occurs from Oct, 7 18:00 to Oct, 8 00:00. One peak during this time reaches 470 ppm, the others are between 440 ppm and 450 ppm.
