Bluesky user Jen Nullptrintime announced today that she has signed with Indiana and Pitt for her 2025 college football rooting interests. “I can tolerate a lot from Cal football, but antivax shit is where I draw the line” Jen said in a statement in the W4C comment section following the hire of antivaxxer Nick Rolovich by the Golden Bears. Indiana University was immediately upgraded from Jen’s secondary to primary team on an interim basis following the Rolovich announcement. Jen’s mom and grandmother are both IU grads, so the Hoosiers had long been Jen’s secondary team. Jen is today confirming that IU will be her primary CFB team for the 2025 season, and announced that she will add the Pitt Panthers as her secondary team. “When Cal played Pitt as part of their inaugural ACC season, the similarities between the two programs became apparent to me.” Jen said in her announcement Thursday afternoon. “When I began looking for a replacement for Cal following the Rolovich hire, Pitt was immediately at the top of my list. Today’s performance in the GameAbove Sports Bowl confirmed for me that rooting for Pitt has the right balance of anxiety, hope and despair that I’m looking for.” Stanfurd is scheduled to host the Panthers next season, which was a key point in favor of Pitt for Jen, as it will allow her to attend at least one game in person. Jen is looking into adding a possible Pittsburgh stop to a planned Northeast trip next fall, as well as a possible road trip up to Eugene to see the Indiana/Oregon game. Jen’s affiliation in other sports remains unaffected, and she will continue to root for the Golden Bears in all non-football sports, especially rugby and women’s basketball. She also expressed hope that Rolovich and those who hired him would be fired after one season and that she could return to rooting for Cal football relatively soon.
