Also my boy Pikachu just cost me 1300 to get a mass removed (but he survived and the mass was benign, and my luck with rodent surgery had been abysmal for years, so I'm not complaining too loud about the cost!)

He's so beautiful, oh my gosh... That gorgeous little face. Do you feel the pros of keeping mice outweigh the cons for you? Their short life spans/susceptibility to disease are definitely two of my biggest concerns Congrats on the successful surgery!!
