The two-game tour kicks off on Friday, July 17, with a game against Bishop Stortford Swifts at 7.30pm BST, 2.30pm EST. The following day, Saturday, July 18, the team will play Clapton Community FC at the Old Spotted Dog ground with kick-off at 3pm BST, 10am EST, the day before the World Cup final.

Mamdani said in a statement the administration was distributing the materials to New Yorkers and visitors alike to ensure that they are aware of the protections and that City Hall has their back. "The World Cup is a time when people from around the world come together around a shared love of soccer,” Mamdani said in the statement. “We have no tolerance for those who want to use the tournament as an opportunity to take advantage of New Yorkers, whether that’s through deceptive business practices, violations of our labor laws, or other forms of exploitation.”
Soccer would not exist without immigrants. Immigrants play and coach the game, work in the stadiums, fill the stands, and make celebrations like the World Cup possible. Six of the players on the US Men's National Team are immigrants. We will not allow ICE or anyone else to sow fear in our communities — especially at this moment. As the world comes to our city, we will stand proudly with our immigrant neighbors and reject these attacks for what they are: an attempt to divide us.
