Very odd and revealing choice by the New York Times to frame the DeSantis agenda without noting laws that allow healthcare providers to turn away lgbtq patients, ban trans people from public restrooms, and ban the acknowledgment that we exist from public schools. Anti lgbtq laws are at the top of the Republican agenda. It was true in the 2022 campaign and it’ll be true for the 2024 campaign, and ignoring that does a huge disservice to your readers.
