context: I'm re-doing my zpool, so I backed up important data to temp-pool and marked a drive in my normal pool as faulty. created single drive pool temp-pool-2 where I will temporarily transfer all the data. Then re-create the raidz1 with 2 disks and then do raidz expansion to go back to 3 disks
