An animated gif shows many georeferenced layers with contiguous masks drawn around each one. where adjancent masks have been snapped together, the vertices are green, until then they are white. the gif zooms into an area with a few white vertices and "cleans them up" by snapping over to neighboring boundaries.

A georeferenced Sanborn map sheet that shows significant distortion (Worcester, Mass., 1950, Vol. 3, p 343 (partial). The map has a few blocks but is distorted near the area of a curved road on the east side of the page.
