A Steam Review for Mythmatch with the following text. UPDATE: Wow, this is actually the best game I've played in a long time. I expected the story and NPC interactions to be an afterthought, but I think this works beautifully as a narrative game with a side dish of matching and merging, too. Or you can go full arcade, if that's your thing. I've found a (mostly optional) minigame to obsess over, which means I can postpone finishing the story and all the lovely interactions with the villagers. The last time I can remember feeling this attached to a fictional community was Mutazione, one of my all-time favourites. - This is such an interesting mix. A subversive life sim disguised as a match-3 game? A story-rich puzzle adventure with cute animals? A feminist examination of Greek mythology and modern work life, but funny?

The process is circular in that the mortals of the world provide fro you and you in turn provide for them, leveling them up to get better at providing for you on your mission to achieve your dreams in Olympus.
