2025 is my better late than never year so far as posting goes sooooo… Here’s my 6 main objectives I want to accomplish in 2025. 1️⃣ Start a YouTube channel! I’ve wanted to start a YouTube channel for a little while now but hadn’t committed to actually setting it up. I really want to talk with the art community more this year and show some behind the scenes things too! 2️⃣ Start a pin club!! I want to return to making pins regularly. Doing a monthly release would be fun for me. I have a theme picked out already so I hope to see you there! (Hint: it’s mythology based) 3️⃣ Make more plushies: I have so many plushie designs I’d like to release this year. I’m working on a project schedule so I can do better about communicating updates and what I’m working on with you all. I feel like I really failed at doing projects last year because I was overwhelmed by the amount of conventions I had. I promise to do better this year thank you all who stuck around and have been patient with me! Please look forward to my new projects this year! 4️⃣ Take a vacation. I haven’t been on a vacation in many years, I hope to save up for a trip to Japan this year! Wish me luck!! 5️⃣ Redraw and resurrect. I have a lot of works in progress that I never finished or maybe my style is a bit more refined to my taste so I need to redraw them. I hope to clear out my wip folder this year. 6️⃣ Trust my art. 😭 I know it’s an artists curse to hate their own art but last year I genuinely felt so down about everything. I wanted to just burn it all and change careers. This year I’m in a better place mentally. I hope trying to build and re-engage with my community will help me get out of my own headspace and enjoy making products again. Thank you all if you read all this way. Takonyaki [Onicake original character] got into the christmas decorations. There are 6 Takonyakis dressed up. The first one is an angel holding a carol book. The second is a reindeer with glowing nose. The third is a snowman with a big top hat. The fourth is cosplaying as the grinch. Heart 3 sizes too small and all. The fifth is a yeti and lastly is a tree with a large star on top and baubles handing off of him.

Winter 2024 Onicake event schedule
Cute animals and yokai huddled underneath themed kotatsus. A kotatsu is a heated, quilted table that originated in Japan. From left to right, top down, the first critter is a kitsune. The kitsune is white with red markings on it's cheeks, tail, and ears. It is underneath a kotatsu with a red blanket that has torii gates on it. The second critter is a tanuki, the tanuki has a leaf on it's head and is underneath a kotatsu with a light green blanket with dark green leaves on it. The third critter is a nekomata, nekomata are Japanese yokai that have 2 tails. It's underneath a kotatsu with a yellow blanket with blue fish on it. Starting on the second row is a red panda, the red panda dons a green bandana around his neck. The red panda is underneath a kotatsu with a light green blanket and bamboo on it. The fifth critter is a Kappa, the Kappa is underneath a kotatsu with a yellow blanket covered in pickles. The sixth critter is an Inu Hariko. It's underneath a kotatsu with a dark blue blanket with a starry patterned design. Starting on the third row is a capybara, the capybara has an orange on his head. The capybara is underneath an kotatsu with an orange blanket, with oranges on it. The final critter is a tengu. The tengu is bright red, with a black tokin and bright purple beads around his neck. He is under a kotasu with a purple windy leaf patterned blanket. They're all very cozy, some have their tails sticking out the back of the kotatsu as if they barely fit underneath. Their paws (or wings, or fins) stick out of the front by their faces while their bodies are completely covered by the kotatsu. Hopefully this paints a warm quaint image in your mind!

A stubby kawaii interpretation of different cat breeds in 3 rows of 3. (Top down, left to right) Tuxedo, a black and white cat with a black bow tie and black whiskers. Orange, a orange striped cat with white whiskers. Tortie, a greyish brown cat with grey and orange spots and black whiskers. Siamese, A light brown cat with a brown center, white whiskers and blue eyes. Grey, a grey cat with dark grey whiskers. "Cherry" a cat not based on any existing cat breed, pink with a flower petal shaped spot on it's left ear and kitsune like markings in the center of it's forehead. "Takonyaki" another cat not based on a real existing cat breed, A tannish orange cat, with brown takonyaki sauce, kewpie mayo and green onions on top and tannish orange whiskers. "Cactus" based on the idea of combining a cactus plant and a cat, a bright green cat with a pink flower on its head and white cactus spikes sticking out of it. Calico, based on the calico cat this white cat has brown and oranges spots and brown whiskers.
