we tried the playdate option for the first time yesterday and met a ninjanyatchi. they became fast friends. today, we did it again and met a haretchi! together, they made friend shakes. i've been really busy with work since i'll be on vacation soon, so i'm losing steam on recording entries. i'll take a break from the v-pet log for now.
i got familiar with the control scheme... the strange touch sensor buttons do need getting used to. i haven't quite got it down, but i'm getting there. the egg hatched into a smart blue tamabotchi. since baby forms are usually dedicated work, i set aside the evening to just spend time with him until he reached child form. eventually, tamabotchi became puchitomatchi and went to bed, so i did too. the following morning, i got to try some of the minigames. hula hooping and the coffee cup games require steadily swiping back and forth, not too much or too little. i also tried out the camera features! taking a photo of my iced coffee and another random object, i made blancmange. since we're trying for gozarutchi, i regretfully have to neglect this child a bit, once more. please be strong... today is a day that ends in 0, so it's an eco day. the ecousatchi said it's because there should be zero waste. so p-tomatchi helped them clean up the park.
july 2, 2025 -unitama- i played some more tama plaza. i got to see a lot more tamas, even gozarutchi! i also connected unitama for the first time. we wound up getting a rapper hat as a reward, which is really funny. i really like the afternoon tea minigame. making cute layouts for yummy food is nice.
july 1, 2025 -unitama- while working, kuriritchi became an adorable weeptchi! i let him hold the bouquet from the honeymoon tama arena event and he looks so sweet and loveable. a few other fun things happened, too. an engineer at my job was able to remove the stripped screws on the back of unitama, and later in the evening, i completed the customization surgery! now my unitama is pink and pretty. a pink watch band i ordered also came in, so it matches now. i also downloaded the angel festival DLC for weeptchi to play in. i remodeled his room to the cloudy angel theme and everything really matches him. because weeptchi is the quiet, docile type, he doesn't seem to want to stand in the middle of the room, prefering to be a wallflower? at least in comparison to his mysterious predecessors...
june 26, 2025 -rairoumon- after a long struggle, mitsu-kun was able to defeat the shagaru magala of stage 7 and unlock the citadel castle ruins! he has completed so many stages, it's impressive. but it's getting too difficult to continue... -unitama- i was busy at a work meeting today, so i left hotcaketchi with the sitter. he got a duplicate DIY on the morning commute's tama walk, so we're really just taking it easy. the meal of the day was berry porridge and bananas foster for a treat.
june 23, 2025 -rairoumon- we took a break but continued progressing. he finally defeated the silver rathalos of stage 6 and unlocked what i believe is the forlorn arena/tower area. -unitama- a few things happened. i started again after gozarutchi left on his adventure. a green egg hatched into a yooyutchi with a chill personality. he grew into welcotchi, who in turn became gunchitchi. i was hoping that he would become kuchipatchi today, but to my surprise... he became hotcaketchi. i didn't realize that playing with the frying pan would alter his DNA... it feels like fate, because i did eat some pancakes yesterday. today's meal is dim sum and pancakes as a snack (hehe).
i like gozarutchi's sleepy face. he looks annoyed. june 19, 2025 -rairoumon- mitsu-kun has trouble getting past stage 3, so i've been alternating between stages 1 and 2 to keep up his battle ratio. i heard keeping the % above 80 is good. i changed his environment to the flooded forest. recently, i've really gotten into monster hunter and have bee playing through the series. i was surprised to see how vastly different the flooded forest area looks between the games where it's featured. ... i looked away to do some work, but when i looked back, mitsu-kun suddenly appeared bigger and red. did he just evolve? he is now a soulseer mizutsune. well done! his training game is really fast now.
i am enkou. this is my v-pet log. i have two v-pets: the monster hunter x digimon digivice, and a tamagotchi uni. from here on out, i will refer to the former as "rairoumon" (rairou - thunder wolf, it has the zinogre pattern), and the latter as "unitama." -the story so far- i preordered rairoumon back in sept 2024. i had to wait about 9 months for it to arrive! rairoumon was activated on june 10, 2025. i didn't know you could train the egg form... so i let it sit while i cooked dinner. due to my inactivity, a baby khezu was born. i named him furufuru-chan. he grew up into a red khezu, and was able to fight his way to stage 4 of the quest battles. however, i found out that poor khezu / red khezu cannot evolve further. on june 16, 2025, furufuru-chan passed away. thank you for your hardwork and for introducing me back to the world of v-pets! realizing that rairoumon was pretty straightforward and simplistic, i figured i had just enough time to maintain a second v-pet. i wondered how tamagotchi had changed over the years...
