The Heathcliff account that asks the question… what if orbs?

Orbcliff - The Second Week of Stoke Panel 1 - Heathcliff has painted the word “NUDE” on a canvas. Two mice look on, one says, “Now that’s art.” Heathcliff has a green orb on his head. Panel 2 - Stoke, a terrifying diamond shape, bursts through the painting. Heathcliff drops his paintbrush and palette, the green orb jumps off his head. The mouse exclaims, “oh **** it’s Stoke “ Panel 3 - Heathcliff, with green orb on his head, and Iggy walk down the steps outside the Meat Museum. Iggy says, “You seemed moved by the hotdog exhibit.” panel 4 - Stoke appears at the steps! The green orb jumps off Heathcliff’s head and Iggy shouts, “Oh **** it’s Stoke!” Panel 5 - Heathcliff, green orb on his head, looks at a couple of birds on a birdbath from behind a bush. He wears a bib that says, “Dan.” One bird says to the other, “Be careful, Dan.” Panel 6 - Stoke appears! Everyone is scared, the green orb jumps off Heathcliff’s head. The bird chirps, “Oh **** it’s Stoke!” Panel 7 - Heathcliff, green orb on his head, has eaten a taco from a taco truck. He belches out a gigantic flame. The taco truck guy explains to a man standing in line, “That’s the mild.” Panel 8 - Stoke appears and sucks the fire breath right out of Heathcliff’s mouth! Stoke also seems to kill the man standing in line by engulfing him in a swirl of flames. The taco truck guy says, “Oh **** it’s Stoke!” Panel 9 - Heathcliff leaps at three birds with a couple pieces of bread. He has a green orb on his head. Two men sit on a nearby park bench, one says, “He’s trying to make a sandwich.” Panel 10 - Stoke appears and starts to draw the two men off the bench into the air. Heathcliff drops the bread and the green orb jumps off his head. One of the men says, “oh **** it’s Stoke!” Stoke seems to have eyes now, and is on fire. Panel 11 - Heathcliff, green orb on head, walks past his house holding a large balloon that says, “Don’t Even.” Grandma Nutmeg and her friend watch from the window, the friend says, “I need one of those.” Panel 12 - Stoke appears and pops the balloon! In addition to being on fire, it now has glasses and a mustache, perhaps absorbed from the two men in the park? Grandma’s friend says, with a smile, “Oh **** it’s Stoke!” Grandma also smiles. Panel 14 - Heathcliff walks with hearts over his head. And the green orb. Panel 15 - Sonja walks the other way towards him with hearts over her head. Panel 16-17 - They both have presents behind their backs! Panel 18 - They show each other their presents! Panel 19 - They open their presents to reveal delicious hams, however the now gigantic Stoke has appeared and fills them with terror! The green orb jumps off Heathcliff’s head. Panel 20 - the opened boxes, hams, and the green orb sit on the ground. No Stoke, Heathcliff, or Sonja in sight. Panel 21 - At the meat shop the clerk and a customer saw it all happen. He says, “Oh **** it’s Stoke. Text: Heathcliff and Sonja have been missing since that fateful day. Will green orb be able to find them? The green orb wears a hat and has a pipe and magnifying glass. It’s ready to solve mysteries!
Heathcliff drops his hot taco, his glowing green orb jumps off his head, the taco truck guy shouts, “oh **** it’s stoke!” The flames that were coming from Heathcliff’s mouth gets sucked up by STOKE, a geometric monster that changes light to dark and also seems to have killed one of the taco patrons by engulfing him in he swirling flames.
Heathcliff stands on the lap of a man and uses his hypnotized eyes. Grandpa Nutmeg sits across from them in the living room and looks mad. He says, “I specifically asked him not to hypnotize!”
Comic strip, Heathcliff looks at a bird bath from the bushes wearing a a bib that says, DAN.” Two birds with the heads of Tom Hanks and Gary Sinise as their characters from Forrest Gump, Forrest Gump and Lieutenant Dan from later in the film when they meet at the docks. The Dan bird doesn’t have legs. Tom (Forrest) says, “He’s back, but you ain’t got no legs!”

Sunday with Heathcliff. Heathcliff puts on a helmet that says, “Orb” and picks up his glowing green orb and starts running. He carries it like a football as he barrels through some dogs, weaves past an alien and a robot, and makes his way inside to the Super Orb party. But he comes face to face with the horror that is Stoke, a geometric entity that turns light into shadow. One of the party goers says, “oh **** it’s Stoke!” Kitty Corner! A glowing blue orb cat sits at a man’s bedside. “Matt Cholodeswitsch of Tucson AZ says his cat Orby tucks him into bed. She makes sure he’s under the covers and smells his face!
Panel 1, a couple looks out their apartment in the city at night to see Heathcliff swinging through the air on a rope. A glowing green orb is on Heathcliff’s head. The man in the window says, “I love Saturday night.” Panel 2, the monstrosity that is a triangle inside a diamond that distorts light into darkness called Stoke appears behind Heathcliff. Heathcliff is terrified and loses grip of the rope sent ugh the air. The green orb flies off of his head. The man in the window is frightened, the woman next to him seems delighted. The man says, “Oh **** it’s Stoke!”
Panel 1, Heathcliff Pops and Iggy look up at the ice cream man in his truck. Iggy holds out some money and says “two cones and one prison tray.” Heathcliff has a glowing green orb on his head. Panel 2, the ungodly shape that distorts light into darkness called Stoke appears behind the ice cream truck. Everyone is shocked, Heathcliff’s orb and Pops’ hat fly off their heads and Iggy drops his money. Iggy shouts, “Oh **** it’s Stoke!”
Panel 1, Heathcliff peeks around the corner to watch two mice looking at a mouse trap that is baited with a bottle with a slice of cheese on the label. One mouse says, “Cheese cologne.” Heathcliff also has a glowing green orb in his head. Panel 2, the camera pulls out as Stoke, a terrifying assembly of otherworldly shapes that creates darkness inside of it, comes into frame. Heathcliff is shocked and the green orb rises off his head. The mouse says, “oh **** it’s Stoke!”
Panel 1, Grandpa Nutmeg enters the kitchen carrying his lunchbox. Grandma is cooking at the stove and Grandpa notices Heathcliff sitting inside a baking pan. Heathcliff also has a green orb on his head. Grandpa says, “you’ll need a bigger pan to hide from Stoke.” Panel 2, Stoke, a big terrifying pink shape that also changes light into shadow appears next to Grandpa. Grandpa and Heathcliff are shocked. He drops his lunchbox and the green orb rises off of Heathcliff’s head. Grandma looks pleased, though???
Panel 1, a groundhog emerges from his hole wearing a helmet that says “shadow.’ Heathcliff, with a green orb on his head, stands next to the mayor in front of a crowd of townspeople. He says, “Six more weeks of Stoke.” Panel 2, the groundhog turns back towards his hole and raises his arms, it summons a diamond shaped…. THING, that has a sphere cut out of its middle, and a pyramid floating in the center of that empty space. It seems to alter light around it and emit darkness.the back of the groundhog’s helmet says “Rise.” The mayor, Heathcliff and the townspeople look frightened, the orb bounces off of Heathcliff’s head. The mayor exclaims, “oh **** it’s Stoke!”
Heathcliff tries to break up a potential fight between a yellow orb in a Santa hat and a blue orb with a wreath on it. The orb shop keeper says to the other shop keeper “obviously my money’s on blue.” (He wears a blue shirt while the other guy wears yellow apron)
Sunday with Orbcliff Heathcliff walks with a glowing green orb on his head and a bouquet of flowers in his hand. With hearts floating above his head he approaches the Hot Orb, a pretty lady with a pink orb for a head, in front of the meat shop. He gives her the flowers and she gives him a kiss. He walks away with more hearts over his head, then breathes out a huge pink flame! The meat shop owner says ,”he was kissed by the hot orb.” Kitty Korner - a cat sits in a guitar case enjoying music. “Giovanni Aniceti of Pittsburgh PA says his cat ‘Piki’ likes to sleep in his guitar case while he plays!”
Panel 1, Heathcliff carries a glowing green orb with a phone inside of it across the living room while Iggy and Grandma sit on the couch reading. Grandpa stands at the doorway and says, “I can’t find my phone.” Panel 2, Grandpa turns to leave, hunched over sadly. Grandma whispers to Iggy, “this will keep him off the gambling apps.”
Heathcliff celebrates the cat show with a glass of champagne. Multi colored balloons fall from the ceiling. The cats on either side of him look up at the balloons. The judge says, “you get high marks for chutzpah.”
At the orb show Heathcliff holds up a celebratory glass of champagne while dozens of multi colored orbs fall from the ceiling. He has a glowing green orb on his head, the cats on either side of him have a cyan and magenta orb on their heads. The orb show judge stands in front of him and says, “this celebration seem exorbitant.” The number under Heathcliff says 100 to celebrate 100 Orbcliff followers here on Bluesky!
First panel, Heathcliff, Iggy and Grandpa sit around the kitchen table with tubes strapped to their mouths. Two glowing green orbs sit on the table and one more is on Heathcliff’s head. A bowl of orbs is on top of the fridge but this is just a fun extra detail that doesn’t play into the punchline. Grandma Nutmeg and her friend look at them from the doorway and Grandma explains, “they’re testing a new method for catching orbs.” Second panel, all three of the boys’ are startled as they suck up the orbs to stick to the tubes on their mouths. Thunk! Thunk! Thunk! Grandma exclaims, “It works!”
First panel, Grandpa and Heathcliff look out at the snow covered yard where three mice with pink pyramids on their heads are building a snow sculpture of a slice of Swiss cheese. Green orbs dot the yard and the sky. Heathcliff has a green orbs dot on his head. Grandpa says, “they better not be planning to steal our harvest.” Second panel, all of the green orbs are now inside the sculpture. Heathcliff is shocked, the sky and yard are clear of orbs. Grandpa says, “I knew it!”
Heathcliff is proud of his new cuckoo bird springing out of the clock on the wall. Grandpa Nutmeg is upset, it looks just like him. “I specifically asked you not to carve a cuckoo bird if me.”
First panel, Heathcliff looks proudly at the cuckoo clock on the wall. He has a glowing green orb on is head. The cuckoo clock is going "coo coo" but it isn't a bird, its a small Grandpa Nutmeg! Grandpa is annoyed, he says, "Th-this is what you spent your orb catching money on?" Second panel, Grandpa starts crying into his hands and Heathcliff looks at him worried, "That cou-could have paid off our gambling debts." The clock continues to "coo coo."
First panel, two workers stand outside the Orb Pound and music drifts in from a distance. One worker asks, "You hear that?" Second panel, he continues, "He's our orb guy." Heathcliff arrives still wearing his ORB helmet and playing a flute. A whole mess of glowing green orbs follow him!
First panel, Heathcliff parachutes into his front yard wearing a helmet that says "ORB." An ORB hot air balloon flies high behind him, three cats in the basket cheer him on. Grandpa stands outside the door holding a hot mug of coffee and says, "There's a whole mess of them around back." Second panel, Granpa continues "I know, I know. The job never ends." Heathcliff shrugs and heads around back dragging his parachute behind him.
Sunday with Orbcliff. Thump thump thump thump thump, the Orbage Ape bounds down the street holding a glowing green orb in each of his hands. A group of cats cheers, Heathcliff has a green orb on his head. An owl says "When the orbage ape comes a-knockin, the whole town is a rockin" Several characters join the cats to cheer for him, including an ORBOT. Kitty Korner: Jenny Landers of Santa Barbara CA rescues persian cats and says her cat Candi helps her make dinner. Candi wears a chef hat and holds a pan and a spoon.
Heathcliff is shot out of a cannon while holding onto a glowing green orb. The cannon has a green orb drawn on its side. Grandma and her friend look out from the house, and she says "It works great as a cannonball."
Heathcliff sees a fortune teller in her tent while blowing a giant bubblegum bubble. She tries to hand him a glowing green orb. She says, The gum shop asked me to give this back to you."
Heathcliff and a Skunk sit on a couple of overturned garbage cans. Their fairy godmothers float above them, each holding a glowing green orb. The skunk says, "I'm glad our fairy orbmothers get along."
Heathcliff floats away from the Gum shop using a big bubble of bubblegum. The shop owner holds a glowing green orb and gleefully says, "I got the better deal." A lady stands next to him and shows no emotion whatsoever.
Heathcliff flyies a kite made of a slice outside of the meat shop with a glowing green orb on his head. The shop owner says to a customer, "I recommend the prosciutto."
Heathcliff walks past his house with a glowing green orb on his head and accompanied by a robot wizard whose joints and head are glowing green. Grandma and Grandpa look out their front window and Grandma says, "I won't like him hanging around that orbot wizard." Radiation is everywhere.
Sunday with Orbcliff. Heathcliff has a glowing green orb on his head. He hangs out on his front step and then lets out a huge belch. The smelly breathe forms into a Heathcliff-looking genie thing. Bad breath angels accompany the genie. The sign on the lawn says Beware of Breath. Heathcliff keeps on breathing out and it all glows green. A neighbor with his dog says "Orb powered breath." Kitty Korner: Alex Roberts of Wall NJ says his cat Leo is a jokester. Whenever he comes home Leo greets him with claws in his chest. It's how he knows her cares. Leo digs his claws into a very distressed Alex.
Heathcliff clings onto a giant glowing green orb above Grandma and Grandpa Nutmeg's bed. They look up at the orb and Grandpa asks, "Did we get a new chandelier?"
Comic strip: Grandma and Grandpa Nutmeg look into the sky to see a hot air balloon with ORB written on it. In the basket is Heathcliff and three glowing green orbs. Heathcliff is laughing having a great time. Grandpa says, "Orbs will be orbs."
Heathcliff puts the finishing touch on a giant orb made of snow. He has a glowing green orb on his head. The snow orb is outside the ORBS shop, the shop owner and a worker stand at the front entrance, and the owner says, "A snow orb takes me back to my childhood."
Heathcliff walks through the park with a big glowing green orb on his head. The orb says, "Orbsphere." A couple sitting on a park bench sees them and the man says, "Its full legal name."

Heathcliff sits on the psychiatrist's couch wearing an Abe Lincoln beard and hat. On top of the hat is a glowing green orb. The psychiatrist says, "Sorry, I will NOT call you Orbraham."
Sunday with Orbcliff! Heathcliff walks down the street with a glowing green orb on his head. An Irish Wolfhound walks from the opposite way with a glowing cyan orb on his head. They stop in front of each other. The wolfhound growls, and Heathcliff pounces! Heathcliff tickles the Irish Wolfhound like crazy, he rolls on the ground laughing. He stays on the ground catching his breath as Heathcliff walks away holding the cyan orb. A bird says to another bird, "Winner takes all in a tickle fight." Kitty Korner: Addy Jarrett of Bloomfield NJ says her cat Olive loves to watch her family watch tv. Olive sits behind the TV watching her family with hearts rising from her head.
comic strip: Two fish in a fishbowl look at a big green glowing orb outside their room. Heathcliff pounces at them from behind as one of the fish says, "This seems like a distraction."
comic strip: Grandpa Nutmeg is ANGRY. Iggy explains, "He's ceded his territory." Inside the room is Heathcliff asleep next to his glowing green orb while three mice sit comfortably on his cat tree in the middle of the room. All three of them have glowing pink pyramids on their heads.

Comic strip: Heathcliff sits in the court room facing the judge and the jury box. He has a glowing green orb on his head. Heathcliff's lawyer says, "I'm worried about juror number two." Juror number two is a mouse with a glowing pink pyramid on its head.
Grandma Nutmeg and ger friend sit on a park bench. They're both reading a book and have a cat on their head. The cats also have glowing orbs on their heads! Heathcliff has his usual green orb, but the yellow cat on Grandma's friend's head has a pink orb on his head. The pink orb matches the lady's sweater and shoes. Grandma says to her, "I like your shoes."
Sunday with Orbcliff. Heathcliff approaches a trash can that has a green glow coming from it. Heathcliff dances around it in some kind of ritual then kicks the trash can up into the air. KA-BLANG! The trash can lands and spills out a bunch of garbage and a glowing green orb. Heathcliff sits on top of the Orb with an old fish in his mouth. A couple of raccoons look on from down the street, one of them says, "Sweet." Kitty corner: A man holds a cat like a baby, the text says, "Chance Cooper of Wytheville, VA says his cat Penny loved to be cradled and held like an orb!" Penny has a green glow.
comic strip: Heathcliff rides on the back of a tortoise walking down the sidewalk. They both have glowing green orbs on their heads. A man and his dog stand behind them, mad that they're in the way. A bird in the nearby tree says to the other bird, "The orbs actually make them faster."
Comic strip: Heathcliff and Jimmy walk down the street. Heathcliff wears a Jimmy mascot head, and Jimmy wears a big Heathcliff mascot head. On top of their mascot heads are glowing green orbs. A bird in the tree says to another bird, "I think they're glued onto the helmets."
Comic strip: Heathcliff and Iggy stand outside their house looking at all of the characters walking and floating around. Jimmy stands still facing them from the sidewalk in a menacing manner… this is not addressed by anyone. The slug stands on the lawn throwing a fist in the air shouting “Let’s go!” All of the characters are either carrying or wearing a glowing green orb. The radiation is everywhere. Other characters include the fairy catmother, garbage ape, man eating giant, robot, two cats floating with gum, two cats floating in a hot air balloon with “orb” written on it, and the sun wearing sunglasses.
Comic strip: Sunday with Orbcliff. Heathcliff rolls a snowball and Spike rolls a snow cube. They each build a snowman, one made of snowballs and the other cubes. Heathcliff puts a blue helmet on his shaman that says “orb.” Spike puts a red helmet on his that says “cube.” They look at their work, look at each other, the size each other up with a glare, and then give each other a big hug! They walk away from their snowmen laughing. “Tis the season.”
Comic strip: Heathcliff and a taller grey cat with spots walk through the snowy neighborhood. They both wear white orbs of snow around their around their heads that say “orb.” Two birds sit in a pine tree, one says to the other, “That’s the snowball leopard.”
