Amidst the scorching heat of summer The sound of forest insects buzzed loudly, ceaseless even for a single second. Sunlight streamed through the bamboo grove, creating shimmering stripes of light that danced with the breeze. The lone ronin raised a hand to wipe a large bead of sweat from his forehead, shifting his body into the shade of a tree. His faithful old sword was belted at his hip, a worn canvas satchel slung over his shoulder. The sun in mid-April was scorching, capable of robbing a beastman life. Murakumo was considered a skilled swordsman. His body, stout and strong, had endured arduous training, countless sleepless nights, and battles where death loomed close. Yet, he still stood firm as a mountain. But even so— It itched Since that incident which forced him to wander the forest, he'd had almost no chance to clean himself.
