Orchard Notes @orchardnotes.com 路 Jun 16 SQUIRRELS!!! 馃槨 The @*&%ing greys have started gnawing at the barely-formed and massively under-ripe peach fruitlets at work. Two years ago they stripped the tree. Last year they left them alone. This year they seem to have gotten the taste again.

They're such dunderheads. They start investigating my walnut tree early. They'll bite into a green walnut, nope, not ready yet, throw it on the ground. Thus they strip the tree, and in the process, destroy their own food supply. How ever have they survived for 30+ million years? 馃槨, indeed.
