Excerpt from a letter from a ready and the editor's response from LOADSTAR issue #56: My favorite word processor is EASYSCRIPT by Commodore, but I never hear anything about it. Am I the only one who uses it? Kenneth A. Cook Lewistone, Idaho Editor responds: EASY SCRIPT had its day but is old news now. Even Commodore would much rather support GEOS than EASY SCRIPT. Hats off to you. You've found a word processor that you are comfortable with. I say stay with it. There are hordes of new word processors on the market that offer all kinds of eyecatching features, but unless sheer necessity forces you to upgrade then why bother?
Except of a letter from a reader to the LOADSTAR disk magazine, issue #56: There is something else that I would like to comment on. I have read in the past of all the many advantages available for the Commodore 64 if you just use the GEOS system. With all of the pulldown menus, and pointing and clicking, everything is supposed to be so easy. Well! Maybe that was true, so I decided to get the GEOS package for myself. Then they upgraded to the GEOS 2.0 which I went for. I'm not impressed, maybe because I don't need it or am not patient enough. What do you think?

Talk time % This shows the percentage of time the user spoke during the meeting out of the total time at least one user was talking in the meeting. While the percentage naturally varies by role, topic complexity, or meeting purpose, how long someone talks can be an indicator for their involvement in the discussion. Research shows that teams with more evenly distributed speaking time demonstrate higher collective intelligence, better problem-solving, and more effective decision-making. Talk time % metric highlights imbalance so facilitators can encourage every voice to contribute, helping achieve higher-performing meetings. Camera on This shows the total percentage of time the user’s camera was on during the meeting. Studies show that people who are visible to others retain focus significantly more during video meetings than those who are hard to see or not on camera. Being visible can correlate with more attentive and engaged meeting participation.
