it does amuse me when Japanese developers give fantasy characters regular ass English names, finding out Sir Hendrik was named Greg is still very funny to me (maybe more like “Greig” but still)

It is funny but it also makes me wonder how many Japanese characters written by non-Japanese characters accidentally have names equivalent to John Smith. Or, a character who is meant to have a normal name but actually sounds like Reynolds Woodcock
