Number 3 for me, eye catching and is an action shot which also gets your attention!
I know everyone’s saying 3, but when I imagine 80‘s and 90‘s cartoons, one of the first things I think of are the villains. I can’t imagine tmnt without Shredder. I think the big bad has to be included as arguably the most impactful characters in that era of cartoon, so my vote is 4.

The current one is the most distinct at a variety of sizes' and has a strong sense of visual hierarchy. This is largely credited to the contrast in value and bold color against the white cloud BG. I would personally keep the one you have. (I studied graphic design, for what it's worth)
