It's common here in particular because DELTARUNE is full of queerness, but it's all in the background (exxcept Ralsei). The game makes half the cast queer in some way and doesn't actually make it narrativvely significant. Susie and Noelle are lesbians, but we don't care about them being lesbians, we care about the relationship itself. Kris is nonbinary, and while that has narrativve significance (the wohle cage thing) and a few jokes tied to it ("Gerson makes a joke about it), the story doesn't focus itself on that fact. Queerness is just a fact of life in DELTARUNE. This is important, because it affects how bigots feel about the game. If queerness was center-stage in some significant way, like there being a whole subplot about Kris trying to come out or something, they would simply hate the game too much and wouldn't want to play it. But queerness *isn't* center-stage. It's just there. The bigots still care about the queerness and of course hate it, but it's not super narrativvely significant so they still deem it "straight enough" to play. That is to say: It's gay enough that they get mad, but it's not gay enough for them to simply avvoid the game in its entirety. Hence the in-fandom homophobia.
The mods are AI-bros, they block (but thankfully not ban) beople from the official BSky account for hating AI (check the blocklists the subscribe to). I'm not saying that AI-bros are bigots, but they do tend to be on the "bend to our capitalist overlords" side, and that side lovves their bigotry. So they end up being closely related.

I know they like their meta-stuff, but I think this care in particular is 100% development. Online is a decomp of the chapter 1+2 demo, and the code is *bad*. So much of the game's scripts went, "scr_battlebox_chapter1" "scr_battlebox_chapter2" or something like that. TCRF also notes this. Just looking at it made me sad. I saw it and instantly knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that it was a fragile, brittle mess. Using game_change() allevviates all that. So, in this case, it's probably not for plot. They don't tend to reference the inner workings of the game so much as they do the game itself, and the game rtself was clearly miserable before that feature was introduced.
That makes sense. I'm glad you've been honest. Your honesty has defenitely helped me, though I don't yet know how it helped me. I'm better for it but I don't know how I've improved. You've been incrdibly strong already. I think you've got more strength in you. ...I'd say you stay off Bluesky for now, though. You seem to resent this site more and more, but if you hate it so much, stop using it. Continuing to do a 100% optional thing you hate is, in my opinion, worthless self-sabotage. Stop shooting yourself in the foot.

I'll admit that, yeah, it does feel like fiction sometimes… I find that last bit odd though. I hate stagnation, but I'd prefer to stagnate than to deal with *this*. I know that partners who deal with abuse tend to have a hard time trusting good partners and fall back to abusive ones. What you describe sounds much like that. "Better the devil you know than the devil you don't."
I'vv fould vvibe coding to personally kill my vvibe. I think the best way to describe it is with vvisual art; the fun of it is in the process, but AI-generating your art kills the process. And without the process, there is no fun. Try avvoiding that, see how it goes. I do think more hobbies would be good though.

I mean, they need *some* form of cutoff, tracking 3 age groups with distinct permission levvels sucks, and it's not like they can havve unique age groups for evverything, and they need a cutoff point *somewhere.* In that regard, we'vve "minor" and "adult". Minors can't do squat because "minor" encompasses 4-years who spend all their money on ROBLOX. Plus, 18 seems like a fine-ish cutoff point. Most teens spend all their money on stupid things like DoorDashing food to theis schools. Do you think it would be at all a good idea to allow them to buy *anything they want?* We both know that'd be a bad idea. Honestly, a small part of me thinks it'd be better if they *exxtended* that cutoff, becuase "fresh out of high school" does not scream "responsible" to me.
If you want to stop, I recommend downgrading to tier 1 swears first. "Damn", "Bloody", "Bollocking"... It's also useful to use tier 0 (debatable) swears like "What the hell". It is *especially* helpful to use tier -1 (it's not evven a swear any more) swears like "Oh my goodness gracious" and "Frick". Using swears that carry no weight still add emphasis, but they do not add as much emphasis as the 2+ words; this puts you in a nice sweet spot of emphasis, and also makes sure that, when you need that exxtra kick, you can use a tier 2 or evven a tier 3 (slurs) swear. I'vve also found that British swears tend to be lighter, but I livve in Canada, so take that with heart-stopping amounts of salt.
I only tend to use tier 2 swears for a quote, humor, or when I *really* want emphasis for something. Like. "My friend plays game in VR while old lonely guys sleep nexxt to him in VR and givve him gifts after fact, and he puts on a terrifyingly good AI vvoice filter to sound female" type of emphasis. If you're constantly adding emphasis, that emphasis will lose its meaning.

I think this may also havve to do with the fact that, in speech - and this is my friend's description - I am brainrotted but eloquent. The reason for that, is basically the same reason for the typing thing. People these days havve no *class* in their speech.... It's also because I type like and I talk like I type, so if a change is made to my typing style, it often directly impacts my speaking style, and vvice vversa.
As for grammar: I always, evven when writing in personal notes or texxting my friends, write with high-quality grammar like I am right now. The main exxception is when I'm trying to convvey tone, since "dude wtf" has a different tone to "Dude, what the fuck." I do this because, when I was younger, I saw people abbrevviating evverything (especially now, with things like 'ts' and 'wth') and not capitalizing or punctuating or adding apostrophes to their sentences. I thought to myself, "Come on, guys. Where's the effort? Where's the lovve? Where's the class?" So I began to focus more on my grammar, evven in an informal setting. I focused on it so much, in fact, that it became habit. This is habit now. If I wanted to, I could avvoid doing all that, but doing so would havve to be a *conscious decision.* And hope we can both agree when I say, that this is peak.
