You couldn’t live with all the injuries (19, I believe) that Big Al had, yet this animal persisted until its body couldn’t keep up anymore. It takes a lot of energy to rebuild bones, heal infections, and continue to allow the rest of the body to function properly. Especially after being sideswiped by something BIG. Most of MOR 693 injuries are on the right side. Until we meet again, my hero 💜🦖

Metamorphic rocks at site. Many are shiny and grey with hints of orange, brown, and even blues/greens from the variety of chemical makeup. Schists (Albites and Chlorites), Phyllites, Hornblende Gniess, Quartzites, Metasandstones, and other Granite members. Many have severe erosion and have lost secondary minerals like garnets, muscovites, and quartz from the local creek nearby. Paleozoic (542 – 252.23 Ma)
