It also used to require a specific driver for the storage, but seems like that has been fixed in recent Windows versions :) In any case, I look forward to see how far these new Qualcomm entry level laptops go! 💪

Yeah, PCI is kinda special in the ARM ecosystem in general. SoC vendors have large libraries of IPs built around their proprietary busses; IIRC the only PCI device on the first shipped ARM64 Window devices (QC835) was the wifi nic. ACPI enables enumeration, at least, and so normal driver management.
