Without getting into too many details, I was particularly vulnerable feeling and self conscious, during which circumstances caused me to believe my entire body of work was inherently harmful in the way it’s presented and I was a genuinely bad person for expressing my views how I do. At the time I thought it was for the best to deplatform myself to cause no further harm. I was also suicidal due to the guilt (I am happy to confirm that I sustained no harm resulting from these thoughts). After some thorough analysis and comforting by friends and calming down, I came to realize the people who had influenced me to think this way were bad actors attempting to discredit my own thoughts and feelings and cater my content and how it’s presented more to their preferences. These people have been cut off. As a consequence of this whole scenario I have lost my fascination with paper, or rather my brain is currently associating dopamine and serotonin with bringing harm to others and thus presented cringe/disgust/sickness at most forms of joy. I have not fully recovered from this but I’m making steps to return to my normal state of mind. The next Flatcat Friday will not be done because I like paper, I don’t right now, but I want to make it to affirm to myself I’m strong, I’m me, I am comfortable with what I am, and my self expression is not harmful to others.
So like, I'm non-binary. Previously agender. I consider myself as fitting under the transgender spectrum. This stuff is all reasonable and understantable by anyone. However, online, I call myself papergender. Which is... Kind of very confusing haha. What the hell does that even mean?
