This is it: the patch for the thing I've been building. Since I don't know what I'm doing I'm sure any pro would have strong opinions on it. The patch does not use subpatches as integration of subpatch extraction and keyframe data is still an open area.
Really just an "atmospheric" screenshot showing the .props file I used to wire up LibXmp-Lite. The only thing that's cool about it: it's all done in the project, the demotool has no built-in mod support, only an audio service that accepts floats!

I've opened up my demo tool Burnside with the render window, an empty patch view and an AI chat visible. I'm asking GPT 5-mini to render a custom shader onto the screen using render to texture. GPT formulates a plan and connects some operators to render the screen blue. I ask it to make the shader a plasma and it does. Nothing fancy really.

By default, tracks are displayed in a compact dopesheet-style view, where keyframes appear as sequenced markers along the timeline. Tracks can be expanded individually to reveal their underlying animation curves, which are fully editable in-place for fine-grained control over interpolation and timing. All editing operations are integrated with full undo support.

A short UI demo that shows me dragging the Count property on a "Dynamic Port Demo"-operator inside my Burnside demo tool. As Count changes, the number of input ports shown on the operator and its layout changes visually. The inspector Displays all additional Ports as editable floats below the Count editor. Getting this right can be a hassle with retained mode UIs but since we only have one state to process it's actually quite trivial.
Here's a screenshot that shows a node graph, an inspector with some properties and a tool render result. Not shown: two publishers I've prepared to make standalone executables or a website out of it.
