The FDA just said in an update that a sample of shredded iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms de Mexico "has tested positive for cyclospora." However, Taylor Farms confirmed the tested product is NOT part of the current recall. FDA is investigating to see if the implicated lot is in consumers' homes.

New: The FDA is retracting its previous statement about detecting cyclospora in an unrecalled lot of Taylor Farms lettuce “FDA laboratory experts re-reviewed the sample results and have concluded that the finding does not represent true amplification and should be considered a false positive.”
