I'm proud to have introduced a resolution alongside my fellow Democratic Senators from Philadelphia to condemn the cowardly dismantling of the President’s House Memorial—a commemoration of the nine Black men and women enslaved by President George Washington.

Last week, we watched in horror as the Trump Administration dismantled the memorial. So we're taking action. Our resolution is in solidarity with the City of Philadelphia, which appeared in federal court this morning in an effort to return the exhibit to Independence Mall.
