A new shot cuts to Fred's arched back, it's still raining behind him where he kneels. Max walks into frame to tug at Fred's blazer to get his attention.
It pans down to Ruby looking up to her father as she opens the door, genuinely excited to see him finally arriving home from work.
Fred eventually turns away to start walking home, stepping down while holding his briefcase.
