PAWS/Pendleton Animal Welfare Shelter is a local, private, non-profit 501(c)3 animal shelter located in Pendleton, Oregon.

Scoobert had an amazing time meeting people at the Pendleton Farmers Market yesterday evening! We appreciate his foster family taking him out and about! Look at those sweet smiles! It looks like everyone had a great time! Here's Scoobert's story: Scoobert has been with us off and on since 12/15/2024. He is a SWEET boy who can't seem to find the right adopters. Scoobert is great with dogs, cats, kids, and is both crate and house trained. He is a playful, energetic dog who loves to romp with other dogs and has a goofy personality to match. He's made great progress with his manners and is eager to please, though he'll need continued leash training. Scoobert would thrive in an active home that will give him plenty of exercise and of course, snuggles. 💗 PLEASE share this post and tag friends who might be the right home for Scoobert! Thank you! 🐾

It's #EmptyTheShelters now through July 26th thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation! Let's meet one of our poster pets! This is Joker! Joker is a 9-year-old, 54-lb boy who is still made of springs! You might have seen him in the Fourth of July parade where he loved all the attention <3 (and he's pretty sure he's the reason we won 1st place for "Best Civic Group"). He is pretty handsome, after all! Joker is good with other dogs and loves all people. (We're not sure how he is with cats but could find out.)
