I saw an earlier post about someone who turned 25 today and how they have lived for 10% of the nation’s history and I realized, at age 67, I have been around for 26%!
I once heard a comedian say, “The US civil war wasn’t long ago - just two 75 year olds grandmas sitting back to back.”
My friends in Kyiv talk about buildings erected in the 11th century AD. Boggles the mind. We have buildings with a useful life of 20 years. I don’t think we’re doing it right.
