Two Lancers go for a casual Sunday drive, and take their NHP copilots with them. They are, by their reckoning, going at perfectly safe speeds. Both the Scylla and Athena class NHPs sitting in the back wholeheartedly disagree.

An SSC maidlas pilot dealing with some miscreants on the premises in a thoroughly non-lethal* manner. Her terashima blade firmly remains in its scabbard, while she utilizes speed and minor blunt force trauma to incapacitate and subdue the attackers. Atlas mechs may be size 1/2, but one running at full tilt and driving its knee into your cranium will probably knock you down for the count, not to mention the kinetic mass transfer effect of throwing you into the nearest solid wall and simply letting physics take over. *Terms and conditions may apply. Yes I know that is a Zaku. A chibi style maid (wearing an SSC atlas suit patterned after a maid outfit) is drop kicking a Zaku. The Zaku is not having a good time.
Further building upon SSC's expertise in miniaturization, paracausal technology, and fashion sense, the "Maidlas" variant of the Atlas chassis frame is exclusive to SSC operatives and their employers. Designed to fit into any high pressure social situation, they provide both unobstrusive and attractive executive assistant elements to any medium to high risk meetings and events. The pilot is wearing a standard issue reinforced dress with armor plating add-ons. A pure white apron covers the front of the outfit, and a flicker field projector is integrated into the smart-threads of the apron. The woman is wearing a helmet to complement the hardsuit, ensuring full function despite any environmental degradation. The maid is equipped with a Terashima Blade, rapier-class, as well as a GMS tactical knife as a melee sidearm. Her bodysuit integrates IPSN synthetic muscle netting, as well as provides physical reinforcement support to the body during maneuvers, especially when the heels-integrated Jaeger Kunst 1 system is in operation. Most of the maid outfit is of a standard, victorian-dress style. There are accents of silver and gold for armor plating, a red ribbon on her upper chest, and a bubble canopy helmet that provides clear fields of view, as well as ensuring the pilot can look their best. Additional systems including auto-cleaning features (works for blood,oil, and greywash nanites), structural damage baffles (to ensure the maid always looks their best despite any battle damage), and others can be requested for additional costs. Taking some time to relax, Kiyomi Ogami of Union Sector Defense in the Palantine IV rests in the lap of her girlfriend, Ling Ming, who was assigned to her joint Union-SSC taskforce investigating energy resource piracy. Kiyomi, the shorter of the two, is in a dark purple and grey jacket and is looking over her shoulder at Ling, who is wearing a suit with her necktie loosened. Ling is looking back at her and the two are chatting about nothing at all. They're having terrible time recently but dang, if we as players aren't eating this up. Good luck you too! Don't die like your original, Kiyomi!

Her sharpshooter rifles float above her, enchanted to float along with her as she sashays through the city, ready to take down any cultists or monsters or what have you. Each gun is capable of swapping to different ammunition types, all the better to take on the vulnerabilities of whatever foes she is fighting. With a single finger-snap, order, or mental signal, they stand ready to deliver a withering hail of fire. It's a costly trick, but one has to spend money to make money, and the faster bad men die, the less chance she has of breaking a nail.
A young spiritist and gourmet leaves town on her next adventure, laden down not with loot, but with the necessary supplies, food, and potions for her party to survive and succeed in their journey. She is burdened with great weight, and is buckling under the strain, tears in her eye. On her back, she carries a multi-tiered setup of bamboo steamers, with a small stove beneath. On the sides of the steamer tower are attached two backpacks full of goods. Above the backpacks is a folding camping chair that also, fortunately doubles as a stepping stool. Behind her, tied to a rope attached to the poor woman's waist, is a cooler full of Monster-brand "mana potions." Unfortunately, one of the wheels is broken, and is dragging a trail in the dirt. She's definitely going to have to get that fixed. If she had the level availability for it, she could have gotten one of the classes that gave her a companion, or a robot, or a car or something. Thank God carry weight isn't really a stat that is tracked here. Haven't seen that tracked since DnD. I guess most systems consider that to be a detail that really isn't worth tracking, which makes sense. Can you imagine a Multiple Attribute Dependent caster class simply because you need the strength needed to carry your tomes and staff and mana potions AND you need intelligence for the actual casting? Yeah, this sucks. Just get a dragon's hoard and retire or something.
"WHY ARE YOU FUCKING WITH ME" A green haired young woman in a wintery outfit with a cream-colored sweater and a brown skirt stands over a simmering pot of soup. With one hand, she holds a big spoon she is using to stir the concoction, and with the other, she is sprinkling in spices into the food. She is looking at the camera, yelling like Carmy in The Bear TV show. She looks stressed, and maybe a little bit angry. Why is she angry? She volunteered to be a Gourmet, which is an item based class in Fabula Ultima whose power as a versatile support and healer depends on her ability to juggle her Ingredients and Mana, after all. This is what she signed up for. Damn but if it doesn't get overwhelming sometimes. She doesn't smoke, like a lot of people in culinary careers do, but she *really gets it sometimes.* To top it all off, she signed up to work with a cadre of diminutive shark-like people in their quasi-Mob like network of merchants and traders. Sure, it'll solve her money and ingredient supply concerns, but wow, she really wants to sign up for another high stress job? She hasn't even gotten a maid outfit yet. Yeah. Pick up the maid class. That'll be relaxing.
With a Monster Energy (Mind point elixir) in hand, the young snake-blooded gourmet heads off to replenish her stores for the next adventure with the party. Haversnack slung over her shoulder, she has a shopping list in her magical cook-scroll. She's wearing the jacket gifted to her by her mom, handed down as an inheritance after her mother's demise. It gives her physical resistance, which is quite handy for armor. She is also wearing casual white flats, and a brown skirt to complement the green of her jacket. Honestly, I'm quite hopeful for the Merchant levels. Having a steady supply of IP and Trade Points to provide mana potions will be handy and will give the team as a whole much more sustain while out in the wilds. At the very least we'll have more supplies to rest, which means we'll be able to start fights topped off more often. I like to imagine she just has the supplies for 6 nights of full-on, bougie-ass glamping stuffed in her magical haversnack. Maybe we can ask the undead songstress in the team for a campfire song or something.

Her partner, a Sergeant in the Union Military, is standing off to the side (in chibi form), looking a bit uncomfortable. In her hands is a box of SSC Monarch frame gunpla, and the price tag is censored. She wants it. She can have it. In a large TTRPG game, it can be fun to have all the character personalities bouncing off of each other. But if session time is limited, and has to be split up between everyone, then it can be difficult to avoid taking up too much time RPing instead of shooting other mechs, or progressing the story time. It isn't a bad idea to flesh out the character personalities and interactions in rp vignettes on the side, or through art!
A mixture of Harrison Armories and SSC technology has created an advanced hardsuit capable of stealth as well as blink technology to ensure that enterprising pilots are kept safe. Mostly. The translucent tails (a la the Dusk Wing frame) throw off sensors. keeping the pilot safe, and provide useful additional "arms" for a pilot climbing around their mech. The armor itself is capable of teleporting the pilot back into the safety of their cockpit when the personal shield fails, and the ears... Well the ears are a personal touch. Pictured: A SSC pilot working on a Union Task Force rodeos her mech to repair disrupted sensors, and put out dangerous fires in combat. She has purple hair, and is wearing grey, black, and brown armor designed to be fair unobstrusive. The holographic tails, borrowed from Dusk Wing tech, make it surprisingly difficult for hostile electronic and biological sensors to lock on to the pilot. The armor is also equipped with a personal shield to protect the pilot from lucky hits, as well as a short range teleporter to "blink" the pilot back into the cockpit. It'll knock the breath out of you, however, as the in the microsecond it takes to bring you to your cockpit, you won't *have* any lungs to hold air with.
