A red dog, the mad puppy, is standing in a shallow river. He is soaked to the skin after splashing in the river water, and he is shaking vigorously. His head is at an angle and surrounded by a whirlwind of flying water droplets. The sun is reflecting off his wet coat. He is a happy pup.
A photo looking north along Seacliff beach. There is a huge curve of orange sand framed by black cliffs to the left, and Tantallon Castle stands on the further point of the cliffs, looking grandly out to sea. On the right, the sea is grey and moody, with white frothed waves breaking onto the sand. The sky is all grey but streaked with different shades, purple through to white. The atmosphere is slightly dark, slightly moody, really beautiful.

Photo shows the edge of my garden, with deep, white frost over the grass. In the middle of the grass is an area where the frost has been melted by the crazy dog lying down for an early morning nap. She has left a perfect imprint of her body, legs, head, even her tail.
My dog is bounding along the beach, and the photo captures her mid-bounce, looking a little like a kangroo, back legs frimly planted in the sand and front legs up in the air, leaping forward. Her ears are flying backwards (with speed, she'd say) and her mouth is open in a broad grin.
We're based in the Ashworth Laboratories, King's Buildings, University of Edinburgh. Photo shows the main staircase in the entrance to the Ashworth, stone steps from the 1920s, decorated with a series of bright, colurful banners depicting the science that's tackled in the building.

Picture shows a large patch of snowdrops, carpeting the woodland floor. The white snowdrop flowers are surrounded by brown leaves and twigs on the floor, and the edge of the photo show tall pine trees, so tall that their tops are far above the crop of the photo.
The video has no audio. The film is of my dog bouncing in the snow, first sledging (lying on her side, slipping down the hill, with a wide grin on her face), then bounding across the hill in big, kangaroo-style leaps. She finishes the clip by speeding off to the open hills on the right. My dog is a setter cross, deep red in colour, with a greying face. The snow covers tufts of grass and heather, green and brown in colour, and the sky above is leaden grey.
Turning away from the vegetables, I caught my dog staring at me with disgust. She is a red, hairy retriever type dog with white highlights on her face from age. The photo show her standing in the door of the kitchen, frowning at the camera.
A close-up photo of chopped vegetables, ready for roasting. It's a collection of red and yellow peppers, green courgette and orange sweet potato, mixed in a bit of oil for extra shine. Agreed - a bizarre choice of photograph - but I like the colours!
