Many, many, many Japanese beetles devouring the leaves of a zinnia plant.

A weathered yellow sunflower. Some of the top petals are gone, and all the remaining petals are ragged and droopy.
A sunflower all wet from rain. The top petals are bent backwards from the either the weight of the water, or from being pelted with rain. There is a bumblebee in the 5 O'clock position towards the center of the sunflower.

A beautiful sunflower, brightly lit by the sun. The outer petals a a vivid yellow. The center part goes from yellowish-orange on the outer edge, to green towards the center.
A grumpy looking brownish toad. The toad is sitting on some darker brown mulch. The toad blends in nicely with the mulch.

A poor, poor sunflower struck down in its youth. First, something knocked it over and almost broke it in half, but it lived. Now something (🐇) ate all but 1 leaf. Strong will to live, this one.
