This is an exceptional piece of work and a really interesting piece of research! The literature review is well-organised and the student shows a very critical understanding of the literature - there are some complex ideas that are well presented and offer a theoretically rich context for the dissertation. The student has a brilliant grasp of the political influences that are shaping the context of the research issue and he presents these with clarity and is informed by reading. The research design is clear and methodology very well justified with a good consideration of ethical principles. The analysis is well structured, clear and informed by academic literature. The analysis aligns directly with what was set out in the methodology chapter, which in turn, allows the student to address their research aim. The conclusion is concise and recognises issues of generalizability. Overall this is an outstanding dissertation which presents a thorough piece of research, strong engagement with academic literature that is clearly positioned within a wider academic and ideological context. I agree with the first marker comments and grade.

Waddesdon Manor One month to go until we're hosting Standing with Giants "Bon Voyage". Four lorries carrying the Giants, assisted by Harley-Davidson remembrance riders, will be leaving Waddesdon Manor en route to Portsmouth where they will sail to Caen. We would like to invite you to attend and wave off the Giants as they begin their journey.
