I understand partially the reasoning behind it, but I still think it is the wrong decision and the wrong direction. For me, it resulted in pulling the trigger, killing my account and cancelling my membership.

Good for them. My feeling is that we’re all playing with fire until the “license violation as a service” aspect of the models is sorted out. Remember, folks used to be allergic to even remotely copyleft code…
